lilly & VooDoo- Adopted

2/2/2014

Lilly and VooDoo are your typical Newf girls.  Two years old, sweet, easy going, lovable and friendly.  These two came into rescue together and we have high hopes of adopting them out together.  What better than one Newf...two!

I received this from Michelle Gesse, a good friend. Only she lives in CO, but is in CA now and I live in IL. I have had Newfs for many years and have been looking. What more can you tell me before I fill out an application. I have a 10 year old male who is in a harness and can barely walk and a 7 year old active female.

Hi Barb. I am not completely sure what you are asking, but I assume your friend is looking to adopt? If she is, she needs to go to our applications page and fill out the application to adopt. Right now we do not have any available dogs as these two are pending adoption. We will take in her application and if approved she will go on our waiting list and she will be called if a dog becomes available. It is not likely I will adopt out to California if I have a home closer to here, has she looked into her local rescue in CA? Tell her to check www.newfrescue.com for the rescues in her area.

In addition, I have filled out numerous forms for other newf sites and have adopted pups from local breeders.

I would like to know if Misha is still available. I own my own home and have a big backyard. I also have a ten year old son. My father has a newfoundland and we've been looking for one ever since he got her. We love the breed. I'm used to fostering, but we'd like one we can keep.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Beth Hetlinger

Barbara - are you still looking for a pair of Newfies? We have a 4 year old male and a 2 year old female and will be leaving the country in the Spring of 2019. We are hoping to take them with us but understand that very few landlords allow pets, especially 124# pets. So may be looking for a home for them and would love to have them stay together.

We are looking for someone to foster our two Newfies for 2 months +/-, we are moving out of the country and need to fly down, arrange for housing then return to Denver to pick up the puppies and return. We plan to tutor students in English as part of our retirement in Costa Rica. We are thinking Spring, 2019. If anyone has an interest - Otto is a 4 year old male and Zelda is a 2 year old female. They are wonderful playmates with a typical Newfie temperament..
